I reecently went to the Riviera Maya to of course have a wonderful vacation but to also do some site inspections.
I stayed at the new Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach Resort. What a beautiful and unusual property! THe property is very Mayan feelin in is arcitecture. The property has built utilizing the natural habitat. There are 2 cenotes and a Maya ruin right on the beach. The beach is a very natural beach that lies on a Coral Reef. You will see brain coral right on the beach. Because you are right on the reef the snorkeling is great within wading distance from the beach. There are 3 beautiful free form pools a lazy river and a seperate childrens pool. Plenty of water sports available.
The rooms are beautiful, very large with jacuzzi tubs off the bedroom.
The service was fabulous as was the food and beverages. There are 7 al a cart restaurants as well as one of the best buffets that I have seen.
The Grand Sirenis is deffinatly a resort I would want to visit again
